• Best spatial resolution currently approx. 1–2mm

• Best theoretical spatial resolution: columnar level (using initial dip, and high resolution sequence)

• Best temporal resolution currently approx. 500ms

• Best theoretical temporal resolution: 50ms (with gating in combination with a well behaved stimulus)
