Research

My general research interests are in the area of developmental cognitive neuroscience. More specifically, I am interested in normal and abnormal structural development of the brain and in the neural, behavioural and genetic correlates of speech disorders. The methods I use include neuropsychological tests, computational analysis of high-resolution images of brain structure, functional MRI, transcranial magnetic stimulation and electromyography. Current research projects examine brain structure in function in people who stutter and specific language impariment.
