Installing RedHat Linux on a SONY Vaio GRX316MP
Why would anyone want to?
- Well you could download and use a
load of excellent free software, and get a system that is much more resilient
than one running a Microsoft
operating system
- that not enough reason for you to do it??
OK, how do you do it?
First I should acknowledge that I gleaned a lot of the information
I present on these pages from an excellent description of how to install
Linux on the US equivalent system (GRX570), you can visit these pages here, or just follow the link below to see my guide. The reason
I have chosen to write my own guide, is that I had trouble following the
instructions on the web, and have received much useful advice from colleagues
at work - which I hope to pass on here.
